The CUNY Chapbook Festival began as a project of the CUNY MFA Affiliation Group, whose mission is to promote CUNY’s four MFA programs (Brooklyn, City, Hunter and Queens Colleges) across New York City and nationwide. Support is received from CUNY Office of Academic Affairs. The event has become a partnership between the Affiliation Group and Queens College’s Benjamin S. Rosenthal Library.

Special thanks to those presses who participated in presentations: Center for Book Arts and Ugly Duckling Presse; to those organizations who have been steadfast champions of chapbooks including Community of Literary Magazines and Presses, Lost & Found (CUNY Center for the Humanities), Poetry Society of America, Poets & Writers, Poets House; and to Ghostbird Press who published a special edition chapbook by Alicia Ostriker just for this occasion.
